Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a brand new company in the field of theatre. From 2014 until her appointment in 2019, she was artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company. When she was the Artistic Director of SSC she also was SSC's costume designer, producer writer/music director as well as a text coach. While she was usually at the stage of the troupe but in her last season at SSC, she became a director and lighting designer. In addition to her acting work, she's also associated with several game show. The daughter of the scientist Richard F. Post and his wife poet Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her siblings. She went to Las Lomas High School where she played cheerleading. The school she attended was Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. Post she was married previously to Stephen Knox. She has two daughters with writer/actress Michael A. Ross, who she got married to in 1982. An amazing actress, and a wonderful wife and mother. Post has been a source of inspiration for many within Hollywood.
